2007 season updates
May 2 The Lady Trojans finished second in the NGAC Championships at Ringgold. GLMS scored in thirteen events, including two first-place finishes:
- Pole vault - Anna Quinn, 1st (new NGAC record, 8-7); Alli O'Neal, 2nd
- Shot put - Kelsie Bickett, 1st; Mary Whiteman, 4th
- Discus - Whiteman, 2nd; Lexis Robertson, 3rd
- Long jump - Bickett, 2nd; Holli Brooks, 4th
- High jump - Caroline Jewell, 4th
- 100m hurdles - Brooks, 2nd
- 100m - Quinn, 6th
- 200m - Bickett, 4th; Brooks, 5th
- 400m - Quinn, 3rd; Kendall Johnson, 4th
- 800m - Courtney Towns, 6th
- 1600m - Sam Taylor, 3rd
- 4x100m relay - Brooks, Taylor, Bickett, Quinn, 3rd
- 4x400m relay - Taylor, Johnson, O'Neal, Quinn, 2nd
The Trojans were fourth in the NGAC Championships, scoring in nine events, including one first-place finish:

- Shot put - Cheney Ellis, 5th
- Discus - Jordan Pedigo, 6th
- High jump - Aaron Mize, 4th; Brandon Ngeth, 5th
- 200m - Joseph Sluder, 4th
- 800m - Josh Elliott, 1st
- 1600m - Logan Frost, 5th
- 4x100m relay - Ngeth, Mize, Sluder, Elliott, 3rd
- 4x400m relay - Mize, Frost, Elliott, Jake Holder, 4th
Apr 20 The girls and boys both finished second in a four-way meet. The Lady Trojans got first-place points and new school records from Anna Quinn in the pole vault, Sam Taylor in the 1600m, and the 4x400m relay team of Taylor, Kendall Johnson, Alli O'Neal, and Quinn. The Trojans' only event winner was Kody Duckett in the 100m hurdles.
Apr 17 Both teams won time-shortened tri-meets against LaFayette and Rossville. Kelsie Bickett won two individual events for the Lady Trojans, including setting a new GLMS record in the shot put. Other winners were Anna Quinn, Caroline Jewell, Mary Whiteman, Holli Brooks, Sam Taylor, Kendall Johnson, and the 4x100m relay team of Brooks, Taylor, Bickett, and Quinn, who broke the school record in the event. The Trojans got wins from Blake Reynolds, Cheney Ellis, Logan Frost, Josh Elliott, and the 4x100m team of Brandon Ngeth, Aaron Mize, Joseph Sluder, and Elliott.
Apr 13 The Lady Trojans finished second in the Gordon Lee Invitational meet. Anna Quinn was the only event winner for Gordon Lee, capturing the pole vault and setting a GLMS record with a jump of 9-0. Finishing second were Kelsie Bickett (long jump), Alli O'Neal (pole vault), Mary Whiteman (discus), Holli Brooks (100m hurdles), the 4x100m relay team (Brooks, Sam Taylor, Bickett, Quinn), and the 4x400m relay team (Taylor, Kendall Johnson, O'Neal, Quinn). The Trojans placed third in the meet and had three individual winners. Blake Reynolds won the pole vault, Aaron Mize took the high jump, and Josh Elliott was first in the 800m. Second place finishers were Kodey Duckett (100m hurdles), and the 4x100m team (Brandon Ngeth, Mize, Joseph Sluder, Elliott).
Mar 29 The Lady Trojans had three first-place winners in a season-opening tri-meet. Anna Quinn captured the pole vault, Caroline Jewell won the high jump, and Jessica Mummert was first in the 400m. Courtney Towns finished second the 800m, but set a school record with a time of 2:49.5. The Trojans had three second-place finishers: Blake Reynolds in the pole vault, Cheney Ellis in the shot put, and Aaron Mize in the high jump.
