Compton, Morgan take first in NGAC meet

Jake Compton took first place in the pole vault and Brittny Morgan was first in the high jump at the North Georgia Athletic Conference meet held at Ringgold April 29-30.


2004 season updates

April 30 - The Trojans finished fourth in the NGAC Championships. Jake Compton took first place in the pole vault. The Lady Trojans were fifth as a team. Brittny Morgan was first in the high jump. Scoring for the Trojans were:

April 22 - The girls' team defeated Rossville 57-48. Brittny Morgan was first in the high jump, 100m and 200m, Abbey Roe was first in the long jump, and Mallory Crowder was first in the pole vault. The 4x100 relay team of Abbey Roe, Lindsey Wiles, Brittny Morgan, and Laurie Sieg finished first as did the 4x400 team of Shauna Gallahar, Laurie Sieg, Angela Pence, and Christa Mariakis. The boys' team lost to Rossville. Placing first in their events were Blake Hise in the long jump and Jake Compton in the pole vault.

April 15 - The girls' team was second in a three-way meet. Abbey Roe was the only first place winner, finishing first in the long jump. Second place winners included Haley Kokoszka in the discus, Mallory Crowder in the pole vault, Brittny Morgan in the 100m and the 200m, and the 4x100 relay team of Abbey Roe, Lindsey Wiles, Brittny Morgan, and Laurie Sieg. The boys' team also finished second in a three-way meet. Placing second in their events were Joseph Kennedy in shot, Russell Wright in high jump, Jake Compton in pole vault, and Michael Tillison in the 200 meters.

March 19 - The Lady Trojans finished second in the annual GLMS Invitational. Brittny Morgan won the high jump and finished second in the 100m and 400m, Abbey Roe won the long jump, and Mallory Crowder won the pole vault. Amber Vick was second in the shot put.
