Youth dominates roster
The 2004 version of the GLMS softball team is a very young squad. Only two eighth-graders are on the twelve-player roster. Three seventh-graders and seven sixth-graders complete the team.
One player that returns from last year's record-setting team is shortstop Shauna Gallahar, a 2003 All-Tournament selection. Gallahar will not only be counted on for her skills but also her experience and leadership on and off the field.
