2005 season updates

October 13 — The Trojans ended their season with a 16-6 victory over Lakeview.

October 11 — The JV team lost to Lakeview 18-0.

September 30 — The JV team lost to Heritage 14-0.

September 29 — Gordon Lee lost to Heritage 18-12 in double overtime. The Trojans rallied in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but could not convert extra points in regulation or in the first overtime that would have given them the win.

September 22 — The Trojans raced to a 30-6 halftime lead and held on to beat Dade County 30-12 in their first division game of the season..

September 20 — The JV team suffered its first defeat of the season, losing to Ringgold 14-6.

September 15 — Rossville scored three second-half touchdowns to break open a close game and defeat the Trojans 32-6. Gordon Lee trailed by only 8-6 late in the second quarter, but the Bulldogs scored just before halftime to capture the momentum.

September 13 — The JV Trojans scored late in the fourth quarter to defeat Rossville 8-6.

September 8 — Gordon Lee beat LaFayette 24-6. The Trojans led 24-0 at halftime and cruised to their second win of the season.

September 6 — The JV team defeated LaFayette 20-0 in its season opener. Dustin Underwood scored three touchdowns and intercepted a pass to lead the Trojans.

September 1 — The Trojans opened their 2005 season with a 22-6 win over Chattanooga Valley. Gordon Lee broke a 6-6 halftime tie by blocking a punt for a safety on the Eagles' first possession of the third quarter. GLMS then added two fourth-quarter touchdowns to seal the victory.
