Three Trojans named by NGAC
Three members of the GLMS baseball team were selected to North Georgia Athletic Conference all-star teams for their play during the 2005 season and tournament. Spencer Burns was chosen to the All-League team. Tres Scoggins and Jacob Groce were picked on the All-Tournament team.
2005 season updates
May 3 — Gordon Lee's season ended in the NGAC semifinals with an 11-1 loss to Lakeview. The Warriors took advantage of four second-inning errors to score eight runs, including seven after two outs, to break the game open.
May 2 — The Trojans opened the NGAC tournament with a 13-1 win over Dade County. Tres Scoggins threw a five-inning one-hitter, striking out four. Jacob Groce was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored.
April 29 — Gordon Lee closed the regular season with an 8-5 win over Dade County. Spencer Burns was the winning pitcher.
April 28 — The JV Trojans ended their season with a 4-3 loss to Lakeview.
April 25 — The JV team blasted Chattanooga Valley 20-2. Ethan McDaniel threw a two-hitter for GLMS.
April 22 — The Trojans shut out Rossville 11-0. Tres Scoggins was the winning pitcher.
April 21 — The JV Trojans defeated Lakeview 10-6. Ethan McDaniel got the win thanks to four Mitch Jacks RBIs.

April 19 — Nine Trojan errors offset a great pitching effort by Justin Owens as Gordon Lee lost to Lakeview 7-2.
April 15 — Gordon Lee lost to Ringgold 6-5. Justin Joyner hit a two-run homer for the Trojans.
April 11 — The Trojans were defeated by LaFayette 9-8.
April 9 — Gordon Lee defeated Chattanooga Christian 9-5. Tres Scoggins was the winning pitcher.
April 2 — The JV team continued play in the Lakeview tournament. The Trojans lost to Lakeview 3-1 and defeated OLPH 12-3. Ethan McDaniel was named tournament MVP.
March 29 — Gordon Lee rallied to a 10-10 tie with Dade County. The Trojans failed to push across the winning run in the bottom of the final inning after having runners on second and third with no outs. The game was ended because of the middle school curfew.
March 25 — The JV team pounded Chattanooga Valley 18-1. Josh Weller was 3-for-3 with three doubles and seven RBIs. Mitch Jacks allowed three hits and no earned runs to gain the win.
March 24 — The JV Trojans were defeated by Ringgold 4-2. Ethan McDaniel took the loss even though he only allowed five hits and two earned runs.
March 21 — The JV team battled to an 11-11 tie with Chattanooga Valley. Josh Weller was 3-for-3 with five RBIs and three runs scored.
March 19 — The JV team dropped two games in the Lakeview tournament. They lost to Ringgold 2-1 and to Ooltewah 5-4. Ethan McDaniel pitched a complete game against Ringgold, allowing no earned runs.
March 14 — The Trojans knocked off Ringgold 11-7.
March 12 — Gordon Lee lost to Lakeview 7-4.
March 11 — The Trojans fell to LaFayette 12-4.
March 8 — Gordon Lee overcame five errors in a season-opening 13-4 win over Chattanooga Valley.
March 5 — The JV team opened its season with a 7-2 win over Ringgold. Ethan McDaniel pitched a complete-game three-hitter, striking out six and allowing no earned runs.
