Seventh Grade Supply List

For 2009-2010 School Year

Please come with the following supplies your first day of school:

General supplies needed for all classes:
  • Hand-held pencil sharpener (NOT electric or battery powered)
  • Notebook paper
  • Pencils
  • Positive Attitude!!!
The supplies listed above are needed to begin the year. Please restock them as necessary throughout the school year.
Supplies to be turned into 1st period teacher:
  • Kleenex
  • Clorox wipes
  • 2 AA batteries
  • 1 package of cap erasers
Math:
  • Blue 1½-inch 3-ring binder with plastic, zip-up pencil pouch
  • Package of dry erase markers (4) - no yellow
  • 6-inch ruler
  • Metal compass
  • Protractor
  • 1 box colored pencils (12 pencil size)
  • 1 box markers (8 or 10 marker size)
  • Red pens
  • Graph paper
  • Glue sticks
Study Skills:
  • Black 1½-inch 3-ring binder with plastic, zip-up pencil pouch
  • 6-inch Ruler
Language Arts:
  • Copy of The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton to be read over the summer
  • Copy of Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech to be read over the summer
  • White 1½-inch 3-ring binder with plastic, zip-up pencil pouch
  • Erasable pens (blue or black)
  • 3-brad folder with pockets
  • 1 package 3x5 index cards
  • 1 box colored pencils (12 pencil size)
Science:

  • 2 composition books

Social Studies:

  • 1 package 5x8 index cards

Connections:
Students who are not taking band need to purchase a combination lock for P.E. Clothes for P.E. need to be school colors.
Suggested Purchase:
It is not required, but you may want to purchase a flash drive (portable storage device for transferring computer files). Students will be able to use these throughout middle school and high school. You can purchase a flash drive for between $10–$15 at office supply stores, Wal-Mart, etc.
