Parental involvement is always welcomed at Gordon Lee Middle School. In 2003, an organized parent volunteer program was implemented in order to aid teachers in using time and available resources more efficiently. Parent volunteers make copies, laminate teaching materials, organize special events for students and assist teachers or staff when needed. The parent volunteer program has become a vital part of the school and has enabled teachers to use planning time much more effectively.
