Overview of School Improvement Plan 2006-2007
- Goal 1:
- All students will meet or exceed standards in writing.

- Objective 1:
- The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in writing on
the Georgia Eighth Grade Writing Assessment will increase from 94% to 96% by
May 2007.
- Objective 2:
- The percentage of all students who exceed standards in writing on the
Georgia Eighth Grade Writing Assessment will increase from 16% to 22% by May
2007.
- Goal 2:
- All students will graduate from high school.

- Objective 1:
- All middle school students will meet the standards and criteria for
promotion to the next grade level.
- Objective 2:
- All middle school students will transition to high school with a
five-year-career-plan.
- Goal 3:
- All students will meet or exceed the state standards in math.

- Objective 1:
- The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in math on the
Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from 85.5% to 90% by
May 2007.
- Objective 2:
- The percentage of students not meeting standards on the math portion of the
Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will decrease from a school wide
average of 14.5% to 10% by May 2007.
- Goal 4:
- All students will meet or exceed standards in reading.

- The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in reading on
the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from 96.4% to
98% by May 2007.
- Objective 2:
- The percentage of all students who exceed the standards in reading on the
Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from a school-wide
average of 27% to 30% by May 2007.
