Overview of School Improvement Plan 2006-2007

Goal 1:
All students will meet or exceed standards in writing.
Objective 1:
The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in writing on the Georgia Eighth Grade Writing Assessment will increase from 94% to 96% by May 2007.
Objective 2:
The percentage of all students who exceed standards in writing on the Georgia Eighth Grade Writing Assessment will increase from 16% to 22% by May 2007.
Goal 2:
All students will graduate from high school.
Objective 1:
All middle school students will meet the standards and criteria for promotion to the next grade level.
Objective 2:
All middle school students will transition to high school with a five-year-career-plan.
Goal 3:
All students will meet or exceed the state standards in math.
Objective 1:
The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in math on the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from 85.5% to 90% by May 2007.
Objective 2:
The percentage of students not meeting standards on the math portion of the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will decrease from a school wide average of 14.5% to 10% by May 2007.
Goal 4:
All students will meet or exceed standards in reading.
Objective 1:
The percentage of all students who meet or exceed standards in reading on the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from 96.4% to 98% by May 2007.
Objective 2:
The percentage of all students who exceed the standards in reading on the Georgia Criterion Referenced Competency Test will increase from a school-wide average of 27% to 30% by May 2007.
