2009 season updates
May 4 The Gordon Lee girls finished second at the Class A State Golf Championships held at Bartram Trail Golf Course in Augusta. Jorden Watson led GLHS with a 86. Rachel Mason added a 90.
Apr 20 The Lady Trojans won their fourth consecutive Region 6-A championship, finishing 32 shots ahead of runner-up Bremen. Rachel Mason was the tournament's low medalist with an 87 and Jorden Watson placed second overall with a 94. The Trojans were fifth in the boys' tournament. Trey Clendenen led GLHS with a 93.
Apr 15 The boys' team defeated Southeast Whitfield at Indian Trace. James Gaither led GLHS with a 42. The girls topped Murray County, Cass, and Northwest Whitfield. Rachel Mason was low scorer for the Lady Trojans with a 40.
Mar 26 The Lady Trojans beat Southeast Whitfield and Cartersville. Rachel Mason and Jorden Watson each carded a 44 for the day. The Trojans defeated Southeast Whitfield. Trey Clendenen led GLHS with a 39. James Gaither added a 45.
Mar 10 The girls' team defeated Dalton and Ringgold. Rachel Mason shot a 42 and Jorden Watson had a 46 for GLHS.
Mar 9 The Lady Trojans opened their season with a win over Murray County.
