The 2009 edition of the GLHS competition cheerleading squad has six regular-season competitions on its schedule.
- September 19 at Cartersville
- September 26 at Woodland (JV and Varsity)
- October 3 at Pepperell (JV and Varsity)
- October 17 at LaFayette (JV and Varsity)
- October 24 at Heritage (JV and Varsity)
- October 31 at Gordon Central
The region competition will be held November 7 at Cartersville.
