Overview of School Improvement Plan 2006-2007

Goal 1:

To increase the percentage of students meeting and exceeding state standards in mathematics.

Objective 1:

Increase percentage exceeding on state assessment in Algebra I EOCT from 40% to 45%.

Objective 2:

Increase percentage exceeding on state assessment in Geometry EOCT from 40% to 45%.

Objective 3:

Decrease percentage not meeting standards in Algebra I EOCT from 15% to 10%.

Objective 4:

Decrease percentage not meeting standards on Geometry EOCT from 15% to 10%.

Goal 2:

To increase the number of students who read 26 or more books per year.

Objective:

To increase the number of students who read 26 or more books per year from 30% to 45%.

Goal 3:

All students will graduate from high school.

Objective 1:

Expand the guidance/advisement program.

Objective 2:

100% of freshmen will have a five-year plan by the fall of 2007.

Objective 3:

Increase the graduation rate from 90% to 93% by summer 2007.
